Great Customer Service - RFID is the wave of the future

RFID is the wave of the future for a lot of industries, and it's nice to see one of the first RFID based security systems on Amazon. I've had this system for a few days now, and not enough good can be said about how convenient it is to be able to swipe my RFID tag along the circular portion of the controller to disarm my system when I come home, as well as keep a real-time log of who's home and who's out from my Blackberry with the RFID technology. Had to call Fortress to order 3 more RFID tags for the kids because it only comes with 2, but it was sent same day, and the guy I spoke to was genuinely helpful.

Out of every security system on Amazon right now, this is the only one that allows me to remotely track when my two daughters come home from school. The RFID technology built into the controllers makes this system a little more expensive than other standard security models on Amazon, but the added piece of mind the RFID gives me is well worth it. It came with two RFID controllers that I hooked on to my daughters key chains, and I ordered two more for me and my wife. All I had to do was call Fortress directly, and Mike sent two more out to me the same day. Across-the-board top of the line system, and even better customer service.

Purchased this system from Fortress after reading up on the benefits of RFID tech, and I'm really happy I went with this one. I've had a fair amount of experience with wired and wireless security systems, and this one legitimately blows them out of the water. The main draw point for me was the free dedicated app the system comes with that allows Android and iPhone users to download. My girlfriend has the iPhone 5, and I have the Galaxy Note 2, so it's nice to have accomodating apps for both operating systems. The app allows me to remotely arm, disarm, and check a bunch of other really neat features that make this particular system extremely convenient. A little pricey, but it's substantiated by the RFID technology and accessibility. Really happy with this purchase.
